About the PTA

Our main objective is to organise various fundraising events to support our school and benefit the children, such as the Summer Fete and Cake Sales and Children’s Discos and Wear What You Want Day. As a charity, our objective is to raise funds which are reinvested in all our children.

Committee meetings are always publicised via our Facebook page and website, and we welcome all attendees, whether regular or ad hoc. We are always looking for new ideas to invigorate our activities so please do try and come along to one of the meetings or volunteer to be more involved in one of our events. Alternatively, if you have ideas, but can’t attend the meetings, then please speak to a Parent Rep, contact us via our contact us page, email eatonpta@gmail.com or speak to a PTA Committee Member (see below).

We meet about once a term during the academic year and the meetings are usually about one-two hours and the more people that are involved, the easier it is to allocate “jobs” to make our events a success. If you are not able to be a regular committee member then please do let us know that you are willing to help with specific events as the more volunteers we have, the more fun it is for all our parents and children.

We believe that the PTA provides a unique opportunity for parents of our children to meet each other in a social setting and organise fundraising activities and events for all our families and over the years we know how much this has been appreciated.

Fundraising

Here are two of the ways in which you can quickly and easily raise money for Eaton Primary PTA at the click of a mouse!

Online Shopping:

If you shop online, like most of us, you can easily save money and raise money for the PTA.  Simply go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/eatonpspta, register and then you can see what retailers give a percentage back to the PTA when you shop.  It’s easy and can raise hundreds for the PTA.  Retailers such as Amazon, Sainsbury’s and Argos are just some of those that can make money for the PTA.
