Eaton Primary School – Smart School Council

Our mission 🎯

We believe that every pupil’s voice is important.

At Eaton Primary School, we run a Smart School Council.  Each year, an election campaign is held.  Pupils are nominated, write and present manifestos and are then elected following an Election Day, complete with polling booths. 

The Smart School Council is set up as follows:

1️⃣ Communication Team

A small group of pupils who run the Smart School Council. This is made up from our elected pupils and is overseen by our PSHE lead.

2️⃣ Class Meetings

Class Meetings are super-snappy, pupil-led meetings held in every class or form. They take about 5-10 minutes

3️⃣ Action Teams

Action Teams are groups of pupils who create a club, campaign or activity to create change.
